🔘👉🏻 Srinagar,June 23 (SNO):The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has revised the summer vacation schedule for all Government Degree Colleges in the Kashmir Division. As per the latest order issued by the Higher Education Department (Order No. 296-JK (HE) of 2025), the summer break will now be observed from June 24 to July 3, 2025, instead of the previously scheduled July 15 to July 24, 2025.

 

According to the News Agency—Srinagar News Observer (SNO) The modification was made to an earlier Government Order (No. 261-JK (HE) of 2025 dated May 30, 2025). The new order was issued on June 23, 2025, under the signature of Shantmanu, IAS, Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary), and circulated to all relevant authorities and institutions.

 

This decision applies exclusively to the Kashmir Division and does not affect the schedule for colleges in the Jammu Division.—(SNO)
