Summer Vacation Schedule Announced for Government Degree Colleges in J&K (Jammu & Kashmir Divisions)

Srinagar, May 30(JKT): The Higher Education Department of the Government of Jammu and Kashmir has officially released the summer vacation schedule for all Government Degree Colleges in both Jammu and Kashmir divisions. The notification, issued under Government Order No: 261-JK(HE) of 2025 and dated 30th May 2025, outlines the vacation period based on regional zones.

According to the official directive:

1. Jammu Division (Summer Zone)
All Government Degree Colleges falling under the Summer Zone in Jammu will observe summer vacations from 1st June 2025 to 15th July 2025.

2. Jammu Division (Winter Zone)
Colleges located in the Winter Zone of Jammu Division will have a shorter break from 15th July 2025 to 24th July 2025.

3. Kashmir Division
All Government Degree Colleges in the Kashmir Division will also observe summer vacations from 15th July 2025 to 24th July 2025.
