**Kashmir University Invites Applications for B.Tech/B.E. Lateral Entry Programme (Session 2025)**

*Srinagar, July 4, 2025* – The Directorate of Admissions & Competitive Examinations (DACE), University of Kashmir, has issued Admission Notification No. 16 of 2025, inviting online applications for lateral entry admission to the B.Tech/B.E. Programme for the academic session 2025. Eligible candidates can apply for direct entry into the 3rd semester of the programme across multiple engineering disciplines.

### **Programme Details**

The B.Tech/B.E. Lateral Entry Programme is offered at the following campuses:

1. **University of Kashmir, Zakura Campus, **

– Civil Engineering

– Electrical Engineering

– Electronics & Communication Engineering

– Mechanical Engineering

2. **North Campus, Baramulla**

– Computer Science Engineering

### **Eligibility Criteria**

Candidates must meet one of the following requirements:

– A 3-year Diploma in any branch with at least **50% marks** (45% for reserved categories) from J&K Board of Technical Education or a recognized university/board.

– A B.Sc. degree with Mathematics as a subject and a minimum of **50% marks** in aggregate.

*Provisional applicants* (those appearing for qualifying exams) must ensure they meet the eligibility criteria by **July 29, 2025**.

### **Important Dates**

– **Online Application Submission:** **July 4–14, 2025** (No extensions will be granted).

– **Fee Reconciliation Deadline:** July 16, 2025 (for pending cases).

### **Application Process**

2. **Fee Payment:** A non-refundable fee of **Rs. 900/-** (Rs. 400 application fee + Rs. 500 entrance test fee) must be paid online.

3. **Verification:** Ensure the application status reflects **”Fee Received”** within two days of submission.

Candidates are advised to **retain printouts** of the application form and fee receipt for future reference.
