The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has released Advertisement Notification No. 12 of 2025, inviting online applications for 1815 Constable (Executive) posts in the J&K Police, Home Department. 📢 JKSSB Constable Recruitment 2025 – Overview

✅ Eligibility Criteria

📍 Domicile
Applicants must be domiciles of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir and possess a valid domicile certificate as of the last date of application.

🎓 Educational Qualification
– Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th class) from a recognized board.
– All qualifications must be acquired on or before 17.02.2026.

🎂 Age Limit (as on 01.01.2025)

🧪 Selection Process

The selection process includes:

1. Written Examination (Objective MCQs with negative marking)
2. Physical Standard Test (PST)
3. Physical Endurance Test (PET)
4. Document Verification
5. Medical Examination

📘 Bonus Marks for NCC Certificate Holders

– NCC “C” Certificate: +5%
– NCC “B” Certificate: +3%
– NCC “A” Certificate: +2%

🏃‍♂️ Physical Standards

For Male Candidates:
– Height: 5’6”
– Chest: 32” (unexpanded), 33.5” (expanded)

For Female Candidates:
– Height: 5’2”

> Note: Relaxation of 2” in height for Gorkha and Bot Tribe candidates.

🏋️ Physical Endurance Test (PET)

Male:
– 1600 meters run in 6.5 minutes
– 20 pushups

Female:
– 1000 meters run in 6.5 minutes
– Shot put (4kg): 14.5 feet (3 attempts)

Ex-Servicemen: Relaxed standards based on age group

💰 Application Fee

– General Category: ₹700
– SC/ST/EWS: ₹600
