The Islamic University of Science & Technology (IUST), Kashmir, has released an employment notice inviting online applications from domiciles of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir for contractual positions at its Community Radio Station (FM 91.2). The engagement is for a period of six months, with applications open from June 25 to July 4, 2025.

 

### **Available Positions and Eligibility Criteria**

1. **Programming Assistant**  

   – **Vacancy:** 1  

   – **Eligibility:** Postgraduate degree in Journalism/Mass Communication or a related field, with at least one year of experience in radio production, community radio, or sound engineering. Proficiency in audio editing, content creation, and scheduling is required.  

 

2. **Radio Jockey (RJ)**  

   – **Vacancy:** 1  

   – **Eligibility:** Undergraduate degree in Journalism/Mass Communication or a related field, along with a minimum of one year of experience in radio presenting, podcasting, voice-over work, or public speaking.  

 

### **Important Dates and Remuneration**

– **Monthly Salary:** Rs. 25,000 (consolidated)
