_Candidates Aspiring to Apply for JE Civil Posts Request Deadline Extension Amid Technical Glitches_

Candidates aspiring to apply for Junior Engineer (Civil) posts in the Public Works (R&B) and Jal Shakti Departments under Advertisement Notification No. 03 of 2025 (dated April 24) have urged the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) to extend the application deadline beyond June 16.

Persons with Disabilities (PwD) applicants have been particularly affected due to the ongoing outage of the UDID portal since June 6, which has prevented them from generating mandatory disability certificates required for applying under the reserved category.

Besides PwD candidates, many other aspirants have also reported facing technical glitches in the JKSSB application portal, making it difficult to complete the form submission process.

Applicants have formally appealed to JKSSB for a short extension to ensure fair opportunity for all. However, the Board has not yet issued any official response.
