Srinagar May 29 – The Jammu & Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has released the schedule for submitting offline Permission cum Examination Forms for the Secondary School Examination (Class 10th) and Higher Secondary Part-II (Class 12th) for the Annual (Private)/Bi-Annual 2025 session. The notification, issued today, applies to students in the Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, covering both Hard Zone and Soft Zone areas.

### Key Details for Candidates
The schedule caters to re-appear/failure candidates from the Annual (Regular) Session (Feb-March) 2025, as well as fresh private candidates and those seeking improvement or appearing for additional subjects. Candidates declared under the re-appear/failure category in the February-March 2025 session can collect pre-filled forms from their respective schools. Others, including re-appear/failure candidates from previous sessions, improvement candidates, and fresh private candidates, must download forms from the JKBOSE website (www.jkbose.nic.in) under the “Student Corner” section.

### Class 10th Examination Schedule
– Submission Period (Normal Fee): May 30, 2025 – June 13, 2025
– Fee: Rs. 1,240 (all re-appear/failure/fresh private candidates); Rs. 1,460 (candidates with additional/optional subjects).
– First Late Fee Period (10 Days): June 14, 2025 – June 23, 2025
– Fee: Rs. 2,050 (normal + Rs. 810 late fee); Rs. 2,270 (with additional subjects).
– Second Late Fee Period (10 Days): June 24, 2025 – July 3, 2025
– Fee: Rs. 3,325 (normal + Rs. 2,085 late fee); Rs. 3,545 (with additional subjects).

### Class 12th Examination Schedule
– Submission Period (Normal Fee):* May 30, 2025 – June 13, 2025
– Fee: Rs. 1,435 (all re-appear/failure/fresh private candidates); Rs. 1,690 (candidates with additional/optional subjects).
– First Late Fee Period (10 Days): June 14, 2025 – June 23, 2025
– Fee: Rs. 2,245 (normal + Rs. 810 late fee); Rs. 2,500 (with additional subjects).
– Second Late Fee Period (10 Days): June 24, 2025 – July 3, 2025
– Fee: Rs. 3,520 (normal + Rs. 2,085 late fee); Rs. 3,775 (with additional subjects).

Eligibility Criteria
Eligible candidates include:
1. Fresh private candidates meeting eligibility requirements.
2. Re-appear/failure candidates from all previous sessions, with a five-year window to clear exams from their first re-appear session (per JKBOSE resolution dated February 11, 2022). Candidates from the 2020 Annual Session or earlier must appear afresh in all compulsory subjects.
3. Class 10th candidates in additional/optional subjects, English-only, or completion categories.
4. Class 12th candidates seeking subject changes, additional subjects, English-only, completion, or performance improvement.

### Guidelines for Institutions
Heads of affiliated institutions are instructed to:
– Charge Rs. 20 per candidate for the form and Rs. 10 additional to the prescribed fee.
– Exempt disabled candidates with a minimum 40% benchmark disability (certified by a competent authority) from examination fees.
– Record candidate details, including mobile numbers, on enrollment sheets.
– Affix a recent colored photograph of each candidate on the enrollment statement and sent-up list.
– Deposit fees via bank slips at designated J&K Bank branches.
– Submit forms, enrollment statements, and renewal registration returns (where applicable) to JKBOSE Divisional/Sub/Branch offices.

If the last submission date falls on a holiday, the next working day will be considered the deadline. Schools have two additional preparation days post-deadline for form and fee submission.

The notification, issued under reference NO: F (Acad-C) Exam/X-XII-Pvt/B/E-7700776/2025, has been circulated to relevant authorities, including the Administrative Secretary of the School Education Department, Directors of School Education in Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh, and heads of government and private schools.
