🌟 Apprenticeship Opportunities at University of Kashmir – 2025–26

The Institute of Technology, Zakura Campus, University of Kashmir has officially announced its apprenticeship program for the academic year 2025–26. This initiative, under the Apprentices (Amendment) Act 1973, aims to provide hands-on training and professional exposure to graduates and diploma holders across various engineering and science disciplines.

🎓 Available Positions

A total of 20 apprenticeship slots have been announced:

• Graduate Apprentices / Interns: 13 positions
• Diploma (Technician) Apprentices / Interns: 7 positions

📝 Application Process

Step 1: Register on NATS Portal

• Visit nats.education.gov.in
• Complete student registration and obtain enrollment number
• Log in, select “Zakura Campus, University of Kashmir” as institute
• Fill and submit the application form

Step 2: Submit to University

• Print the application form from NATS
• Submit it along with self-attested copies of:
  • Marks card
  • Date of birth certificate
  • Domicile certificate
  • Aadhaar card
  • Bank passbook/statement

🔍 Selection Criteria

• Based on academic merit and interview performance (70:30 ratio)
• Preference for candidates with hands-on experience in engineering instruments
• Selection will be phased as per institutional requirements

• Candidates who’ve already completed apprenticeship are ineligible
